Meet the Owner
Bitt started tattooing professionally September 12, 2001 in Pensacola, Florida. In July of 2005, he moved to Jacksonville, North Carolina. After working at Unique Ink for 10 years, Bitt purchased the shop from its owner and rebranded the shop to Blind Stag in 2017. Classic Tattoo emerged in 2024. Outside of tattooing, Bitt enjoys his family and fishing... especially when the two overlap.
Shop Story
Shedding old skin and stepping into a fresh future, Classic Tattoo reopened with renewed spirit and a deep respect for tradition. On March 23, 2024, the shop officially opened—thanks to the passion and hard work of artists, clients, and family who transformed the space in just 16 days.
After 19 years in a worn-down building, Bitt knew it was time for a change. A new location brought new energy, fresh cyan walls, and rows of flash sheets. When the doors opened and the machines began to buzz, Classic Tattoo stood as a proud reminder of resilience, tradition, and the power of community.
